This is a beautiful late 1950s to early 1960s Scottish cashmere sweater by Pringle of Scotland, in a wonderfully rich royal blue.
Made in Scotland from 100% pure cashmere, this lovely piece features a classic round neckline, long sleeves, finely ribbed cuffs and waistband, and a gently shaped waist that creates an elegant, feminine silhouette.
The original Pringle label bears the prestigious Royal Warrant, "By Appointment to H.M. The Queen", a lovely detail reflecting the heritage of this celebrated Scottish knitwear manufacturer.
A timeless vintage classic, beautifully simple in design, with a particularly striking colour and the luxurious softness of traditional Scottish cashmere.
