This is a gorgeous dress from the late 1940s or very early 1950s. The fabric is smoked cotton in yellow pale making some kind of vichy pattern. The black waves are black velvet. She has an exquisite collar that can be worn as it is shown in the pictures or like a mao collar. She closes with side and back snap-buttons. All hems are handsewn.
