This is a very nice jacket from the 1940s. The fabric is gabardine rayon in a peculiar shade of brown, close to "dirt brown". She has a beautiful rouded collar framed by radical 1940s padded shoulders. The cuffs of this jacket are very peculiar and they are reminiscent of the late 19th Century cuffs. This is a tailoring piece and the peplum and pads are lined with silk. Please note that since this jacket was way too big for our dummy we have pined it to show fit.
