This is a fantastic French New Look jacket from the 1940s. There is no label, but it comes from a French home. The fabric is a top quality gabardine rayon with a black texture over a purple and blue background. Keep in mind that the color difference is not due to fading, the colar and side panels are blue and the front and back panels and the sleeves are purple. Radical and exquisitely made 1940s New Look cut with prominent shoulders and hips and a super waisted cut. Black velvet decorating the collar and the cuffs. Amazing diamond shaped buttons, one button is missing. Rayon silk lining.
