This is a true stunning jacket and cape set from the very early 1940s. The fabric is pure wool in a glorious petrol color. The tailoring of this piece is just amazing. The jacket has radical 40s padded shoulders and long vertical waist seams. The design on the hips is just delicious with two pockets. The cape brings a fabulous look to this set.

Condition: Amazing condition! Note only a very old fashion repair on the inner bottom of the cape where a bit of fabric was cut and used (view last photo). This set was fully lined in pure silk but the lining was dramatically damaged and we had to remove it. The white linen fabric you can see it was already there and the pads are wool covered with the original lining. No holes, stains, smells, rips, sweat marks, etc.
