This is a truly beautiful 2pc suit dress from the 1940s. The fabric is lightweigh rayon crepe in red with white flowers. This suit is probably homemade. The top is very gorgeous, waisted fit closing with two front buttons. The skirt closes with a side metal zipper. Please read the condition section.

Fabric: Rayon crepe, metal zipper
Condition: Absolutely wearable condition but note: As you can see, the waist line of the skirt has been altered and a piece of blue fabric has been added and also a red fabric has been added to the zipper (view photos). The thing here would be to reverse the alteration back to the original size and the zipper as it originally was. The first button hole is a bit damaged (view photo). The first button shows some rust stains (view photo). The inner side of the blouse has a round patch (view photo), this is completely invisible when worn.
So, it needs a bit of love and work, but other than mentioned this is still a gorgeous piece! Priced accordingly.
