This is an unbelievable dress from the very late 1940s or very early 1950s. The dress has no label but this is defenitely a quality garment. The fabric must be a mix of cotton and wool, perfect for the late autumn and winter. The collar has black velvet. The shape and look of this dress is truly stunning, very sober and extremely elegant. The front pannel is just delicious and the full circle skirt is out of this world! She closes with a long metal zipper on the back, the zipper is a RIRI one, so this dress is probably British.

Condition: Fabulous condition but it had a few tiny pinholes around the bottom skirt and we have fixed them so you don't have to worry for them at all (view photos). It had one more pinhole to the front close to the collar and we fixed too, now is completely invisible. The same on the back of the collar. As said, the condition of this dress is fabulous and it only had these tiny pinholes that now are not a problem anymore. The dress is clean and the fabric is in fabulous shape!
