This is a truly amazing dress from the late 1940s or very early 1950s. The fabric is top quality cotton in black and white. The tailoring of this piece is just amazing with dozens of tiny pleates around the skirt and four tiny pleats to the front bodice. She has an exquisite collar and beautiful cuffed sleeves. She closes with front buttons and a hook. A massive skirt is just the top of the cake of this incredible garment. Tag reads size 40.
