This is a fabulous housecoat from the 1940s. The lining is a marvelous and super soft rayon silk in a precious pink color contrasting with the black of the velvet silk, extremely soft and cozy. The velvet makes a diamond or zig-zag pattern. Superb padded shoulders and a super cute side pocket. Matching belt. This is a top quality garment.

Condition: In fabulous condition, just note some wear signs and a few stains on the lining (view photos). The belt has a couple of tiny repairs, not noticiable when worn. Two tiny repairs also the lower front, not noticiable. In small areas with more friction, the pattern on the velvet is gone (view last photo), not dramatic at all.
