This is a stunning jacket from the 1940s labeled Julia's, San Leandro (California) by Roth-Le-Cover, USA. Attention because it also has the National Recovery Board label! The fabric is pure virgin black wool. Pictures don't make justice to the beauty of this jacket! Radical 1940s New Look cut with a very fitted waist and padded shoulders. Two pockets on the hips and one additional inner pocket which is really not usual at all! Fantastic collar and cuffs. Fully lined with the best silky rayon. What a piece!
