This is an outstanding 1930s Art Deco dress from our private collection. Exquisitely handmade in black net-lace with some embroidered falling leaves in brown and pink pale. She has a truly precious neckline and massive and dramatic puffed sleeves. The bodice shows different layers of lace creating a very elegant and chic effect. The skirt has the main layer with the leaves and two soft lace underskirts. And what about this wide and very long black silk belt, gorgeous! She closes with snaps and hooks on the back and snaps on the right shoulder.

Fabric: Lace
Condition: Fabulous condition considering her age and type of fabric. The lace is in excellent shape, not easily breakable, but it needs a few repairs: The bodice only have two very small holes on the inner lace close to the waist area (view photo). The sleeves are in perfect condition. Now, there are a couple of very old school repairs on the bottom of the main layer of the skirt and a couple of small holes will need to be fixed (view photos). The lining of the skirt also has a couple of holes to be reparied. No other issues! As said, the condition is truly fabulous despite these little things to fix.
