This is a fabulous vintage cashmere sweater by Bryant of Scotland, dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s.
Made in Scotland from 100% pure cashmere, this lovely piece features an unusual all-over geometric knit pattern in contrasting shades of deep raspberry red and soft pink, creating a wonderfully rich, textured appearance.
Designed with a classic round neckline, long sleeves, a gently fitted silhouette and solid raspberry red ribbed trims at the collar, cuffs and hem.
Bearing its original Bryant of Scotland label, associated with Cerruti 1881.
A charming example of mid-century Scottish knitwear, with a particularly lovely colour combination and distinctive texture.
