This is a charming 1950s cashmere cardigan by Dalton, crafted from 100% pure virgin cashmere in an unusual smoky olive brown shade, a beautiful blend of muted olive green, soft taupe and earthy brown.
Featuring a flattering V-neckline, delicate coordinating buttons, three-quarter-length sleeves and a softly fitted waist with a ribbed waistband.
The most delightful detail is the tiny decorative chest pocket, finished with its own little button, adding a wonderfully distinctive touch to this classic mid-century design.
A lovely example of 1950s luxury knitwear, with a beautifully understated colour and timeless appeal.
