This is a stunning dress from the 1940s. The fabric is soft satin with a precious burgundy shades plaid. She has an exquisite collar, rounded shoulders and a beautiful side pocket on the skirt. Closes with front buttons an a side metal zipper. Classic 40s shape, so beautiful!

Condition: Fabulous condition with a couple of things: The armpit seams have a fixing, really not remarkable and not noticiable when worn (view photos). The bottom hem had been let down at some point and the folding market is a bit visible in some areas as well as some tiny pinholes from the original hem stitches (view photo). Notice a small stain close to the bottom of the skirt (View photo), quite hard to notice! No other issues. No holes, rips, fading, sweat marks, etc. Clean and ready to wear.
