This is a truly spectacular dress from the late 1930s made in Wien, Austria. The fabric is black crepe with an amazing handmade floral embroidery in precious colours on the collar and sleeves. The embroidery is of the highest quality, precise and delicate. Just precious! The front bodice shows a fabulous design with very thin pleats. The sleeves are very wide on top and very narrow on the cuff. Absolutely stunning look. Tag reads size 42. Please note this dress has no side opening, but the crepe is a bit stretchable.
