This is a truly spectacular dress from the 1940s. The fabric is top quality taffeta in a glorious purple color. She has an exquisite neckline and padded shoulders. Bat sleeves and a long and elegant skirt. We have shown the dress with a petticoat but it looks precious without it too. She closes with a side metal zipper. Tag reads size 42.

Condition: Fabulous condition with a couple of things to mention: Note it has a suuuuuper subtle sweat line on the armpits but this is really hard to see and not noticeable when worn. We have applied contrast to the photo for you to notice (view photo). It has a super tiny flaw on the side skirt, not sure if this is really a flaw or a typical spot of the taffeta (view photo). No holes, stains, fading, etc.
