This is a fabulous jacket from the 1940s and a perfect example of the late 40s New Look. Amazingly tailored in black wool and velvet. Radical padded shoulders and an exquisite waist with vertical seams ending up in a beautiful shaped hips. One pocket on each side covered with a velvet flap. Precious cuffs! The lining is rayon silk. This jacket has no label but believe us when we say that this is a top quality garment!
