Without any doubt, Sous Le Signe de Paris was one of the best pret-a-porter French dressmakers in the late 1940s and during the 1950s. You can still find their catalogues with fabulous examples of their exquisite work. This is one of the most deliciously made dresses we ever had, in extremely good quality and museum condition!

The whole upper side with this kind of umbrella seams coming down from the shoulders to the front and sleeves is simply fabulous. And what can we say about the incredible handmade basket with flowers ornating the pocket? Her mao collar has two adorable handmade cherries. She closes with front buttons and a side metal zipper.
