Wonderful late 1940s to early 1950s leopard-print imitation fur stole, with a beautifully soft, short plush pile in warm caramel brown and black.
Fully lined in chocolate brown, with an original interior ribbon loop designed to hold the stole elegantly in place when worn. A particularly evocative accessory of the post-war period, when leopard-patterned imitation furs became an increasingly fashionable alternative to exotic skins.
The short velvety pile and beautifully graphic leopard pattern give it a wonderfully glamorous late 1940s / early 1950s character.
