This is a killer skirt from the 1950s by Sportaville, London in unworn condition!
Sportaville were a London-based company who made mainly sports and leisurewear and were active at least between the 1950s to the 1970s. They were known for fun and vibrant novelty prints, including their own designs which were named and signed “by Sportaville” on the selvedge. (Information taken from the Vintage Labels Guide)
This is the Costa Brava collection. Costa Brava is the name of the coast and beaches from Girona (Catalonia), very close to Pineda de Mar (where the Screamin Festival is located). Fabulous natural beaches where the forest meets the sea.
This novelty print is one of the most fabulous we ever seen and it belongs to our personal collection. Extremelly vibrant colors and what about these boats in the waistband! This is a collector's piece in unworn condition.
