This is an impressive blouse from the late 1930s or early 1940s. The fabric is black crepe and its print is truly curious. It is not really a "print" it is like hand-stamp, you can see the relief of the painting. Whatever the technic is, the flowers look amazing and their colors are very vivid. Note that we have pined the blouse in order to show how it would look when worn, though the size of the blouse is way too big for our manniquin. It has a line of black ceramic buttons on front, but it closes with snap-buttons. Sleeves are 3/4 and they end-up on a narrow cuff that closes with snap-buttons too. Vertical seams from waist to bust and same on the back. It has three vertical collar seams on the back, typical from the 30s and early 40s (view picture)
