This is an incredible 1950s dress by Sambo Fashions. This dress is in like new condition. We all know how Sambo used to make dresses but this is out of this world! The fabric is the best quality of cotton with a fabulous novelty realistic floral print where purple is protagonist. The way the bust is designed is simply exquisite. On the back, a green ribbon is just giving the final elegancy touch to this piece. Closes with a metal side zipper.
Note: This is a collector's piece in like new condition and priced accordingly to the label, quality, size, beauty, and condition.
Sambo was established in the late 1940s by Samuel Sherman. In the 1950s Sambo became known for their floral shirtwaist dresses. They used high quality cottons, often from Marchington Cottons, much in the same vein as Horrockses. Samuel Sherman is also known for his Dollyrockers line from the 1960s and 1970s.
