Charming late 1950s / early 1960s short-sleeved sweater, made from 100% Super Hi-Bulk Orlon in crisp ivory with fine navy blue stripes.
Beautifully knitted with the stripes following the shaped construction around the shoulders, it features a neat ribbed crew neck, short sleeves and a wide fitted waistband creating a wonderfully flattering Mid-Century silhouette.
Hi-Bulk Orlon was widely promoted in late-1950s fashion as a soft, lightweight and easy-care alternative to traditional wool knitwear, becoming particularly popular for the fashionable sweater styles of the period.
