This is a superb dress from the very early 1940s. The fabric is a heavy rayon crepe in solid black. Exquisite see-through floral embroidery on the neckline and front and all around the bottom of the skirt. Beautiful sleeves with narrow buttoned cuffs. She closes with a side zipper and a matching belt.
