This is a gorgeous dress from the 1940s or early 1950s. The fabric is some kind of satin, similar to the fabric use to make umbrellas (?). It has a precious cut with a beautiful collar and pockets. Closes with metal zipper on the side. Inner seams are hand finished. The buttons don't look like they are the originals of this dress.
