This is a fabulous vintage knitted top. The age of this sweater is hard to determine. There is no doubt that this sweater hasn't been recently made, it is old and completely handmade. But I cannot be 100% sure if it is an original from the 1940s. The shape and pattern is defenitely 40s, but since it has no labels or anything else, it is hard to say to be honest. The composition defenitely has a high percentage of wool on it, very pleasant and cozy touch. Puff shoulders! amazingly beautiful fit! Whoever made this sweater had a very experienced knitting skills!
