This is an absolutely gorgeous original late 1950s to early 1960s jacket and matching cape set, beautifully crafted in textured wool tweed in a lovely combination of warm beige, brown and cream, with tiny colourful flecks woven throughout.
The fitted jacket features a charming rounded collar, gently structured shoulders, long sleeves and a beautifully tailored waist, creating a wonderfully feminine silhouette. The front is finished with a row of distinctive decorative buttons, while two small buttoned tabs at the waist add a lovely touch of vintage character.
The matching cape is simply fabulous! Cut in a beautiful flared silhouette, it features a coordinating rounded collar, front button fastening and cleverly placed openings for the hands. The interior is fully lined in a lovely warm brown fabric, giving the cape a beautifully finished appearance.

Condition: Fabulous condition, the lining from both pieces have some watermarks and stains (view photos), not really dramatic. There is also one small hole on the lining of the cape. The first button hole of the jacket has been repaired. No other issues! No smells.
