This is a piece from our private collection that it was made in the 1960s by a fabulous Haute Couture seamstress from our local hometown, Isabel Zarza (Arenys de Mar, Spain). This piece is so special because our little village where we live (Arenys de Mar) was a very important sailor's spot and it still is. Isabel Zarza wanted to make a tribute to her hometown with this fabulous Sailor's style wool dress and jacket.
Isabel Zarza was a local seamstress but her pieces could be considered as good as many other Haute Couture designers. The wool used for this set is of the highest quality and the tailor work on this is impeccable. Both, dress and jacket, are fully lined in satin.
As said, this is part of our private collection and its also part of our Hometown's history.
