Beautiful original 1950s Pringle for Bonwit Teller cardigan, made in Scotland from exceptionally soft 100% pure cashmere.
A wonderfully refined design in heather grey, contrasted with a soft ivory shirt-style collar and finished with luminous mother-of-pearl buttons. The gently fitted waist and classic proportions give it an effortlessly elegant Mid-Century silhouette.
The Pringle–Bonwit Teller connection is beautifully documented in period fashion: Harper’s Bazaar featured a Pringle cashmere sweater at Bonwit Teller in August 1955.
