This is a truly stunning coat from the 1940s. The fabric is tartan wool in red, green and black. It has and amazing look with these radical and massive puff shoulders. Straight cut on the front but a precious cape shape on the back. Two side pockets. It closes with one collar button. It has a black satin silk lining.
Measures - Please make sure you double-check your own measures and compare them to the ones below.
Shoulders: 16" (42cm) - this is measured where the shoulders naturally are. Measured seam to seam is 13" (34cm) but this is due to the cut of the back.
Armpit to armpit: 23" (58cm) measured flat
Sleeves: 23.5" (60cm)
Lenght: 44" (112cm)
Fabric: Wool, satin silk lining
Condition: Fabulous condition! Note around 5/6 holes that have been repaired to the very bottom (view photos). One tiny repaired hole to the side of the collar (view photo) and another one to the back of the collar (view photo). All of them are absolutely unnoticiable when worn, you will only notice them when ironing the coat. It has a tiny flaw on the back (view photo). No smells, no rips, no fading! Clear and ready to wear!
