This is a truly precious dress from the early 1940s probably Austrian or German. The fabric is heavy black crepe with a delicious floral handmade embroidery. She has a beautiful peplum and a very well made gathered skirt. The neckline has two inner snaps, originally this dress probably had some kind of removable inner front panel. She closes with a side metal zipper.
