This is a truly gorgeous 1940s dress by Richard Marcus of Dallas, crafted from a lovely textured rayon fabric in a vibrant emerald green shade.
Featuring a wonderfully tailored silhouette with softly structured shoulders, a fitted waist and an elegant, gently flared skirt. The unusual neckline is decorated with charming little buttoned tabs at the shoulders, while matching green buttons run down the front.
We particularly love the beautifully shaped hip pockets, the rolled cuffs and the subtle natural-looking texture of the fabric, which gives this piece so much character.
A wonderful example of understated 1940s elegance, with thoughtful tailoring and delightful little details.
