This is an unusual and superb dress from the late 1930s or very early 1940s. The fabric is black textured rayon. She has a fabulous collar covering the shoulders. The shape of the bust and the waist are just delicious! Narrow cuffs closing with snap buttons. Radically padded shoulders. Pleated skirt. She closes with a side zipper.
