This is a fabulous dress from the late 1930s or very early 1940s. The fabric is rayon-crepe in brick color. Note that it looks more reddish in the pictures, but this is because of the light. Exquisite cut with bat-sleeves and narrow cuffs. It has and incredible black sequined ornament on the right-front shoulder and at the hips. Copper buttons on the cuffs. Hems and sequins are hand-sewn. Matching belt! Metal zipper on the side.

Condition: Fabulous condition for her age with a couple of tiny issues! As you can see in the last pictures, it has a small damage on the front-skirt with a pinhole very close to it, this could be easily fixed by making a small sequined ornament in black. It also has a tiny damage on the front bodice seam (view picture). No other problems! No fading, no stains, etc.
