The motif continues around the sides of the body, creating a particularly striking graphic effect.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe silhouette already hints at the changing fashions of the early 1960s: straighter and more relaxed through the body than the closely fitted cashmere sweaters of the earlier 1950s, with long sleeves and a beautifully wide, shallow round neckline.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMost importantly, the original labels identify the piece as “Intarsia by Pringle – Inlaid by Hand – Made in Scotland” and 100% Pure Cashmere.
